Install the Windows beta

Once you're approved, sign in on searchquik.com and choose Download SearchQuik. You'll get SearchQuik-Setup.exe, the installer for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

Because SearchQuik is new, Windows may warn you before it runs. That's expected during the beta:

  1. If Edge says the file “isn't commonly downloaded,” open the ··· menu next to the download and choose Keep. If Edge asks again, select Show more, then Keep anyway.
  2. If “Windows protected your PC” appears when you open the installer, select More info, then Run anyway.

Only do this for a file you downloaded from searchquik.com while signed in. If it came from anywhere else, delete it and email [email protected].

When SearchQuik opens, sign in with the same Google account. Then press Alt + Space to search.

Help → Give feedback. Help can open the log folder on this PC. Send a log only if we ask for it.

If a file is missing

Check that its folder is on your list in Settings, and let indexing finish. Windows system folders are skipped.
